Sixteen years. Five chapters.
One journey through ink.
Some lives are remembered through photographs. This one is remembered through ink.
Ink Through Time is a 86-page illustrated collection of poetry, rhymes, and reflections written across sixteen years of Naheem Gross’s life.
Moving between personal memory and social commentary, the collection explores the fears Black men are often taught to hide, the pain of losing loved ones, the complicated nature of friendship, the healing power of love, the search for purpose, and the responsibility of building a legacy.
Influenced by hip-hop, spoken word, and emotional honesty, Gross refuses to separate strength from vulnerability. His writing is reflective, passionate, socially conscious, and deeply personal—created for anyone who has ever felt misunderstood, questioned their purpose, carried pain in silence, or struggled to recognize the person they were becoming.
This is more than a collection of poems. It is a life preserved through language.
Own the journey. Find your reflection in Ink Through Time.
